The biggest problem was dealing with my now-husband.He would get all bent out of shape anytime I brought up the subject. We had set the date and I planned a very small gathering in a natural setting. Suddenly all that had to be changed to accommodate my husband's family. That left me with two months to plan a wedding for 60 people. Half of his relatives I invited out of obligation didn't RSVP or even show up.The total party was about 20.I ended up cancelling the caterer and let my friends and husband prepare the food----which was a mistake. It was such a stressful experience for me because I had to do everything else and work that around a 55-70 hour work week.He and I fought over how much things cost. And to be honest the cost was very reasonable. I made this wedding happen all for about $2000.00. No loans taken out or anything. I worked 3 jobs to make it happen. In addition to that he still complains about what I spent on his wedding band which was $599.00 for a wide 14K white gold band. I wish I never told him when he asked. He asked me days before the wedding and when I told him, he threw a tantrum. Out of anger he told me he wasn't going to wear it, and that he wasn't going to smile for the pictures.I ended up canceling my photographer because he complained about the price. An acquaintance said she'd do it for $200.00.She was to take plenty of pictures, edit them, and put them on a disc. When my husband threw a fit, I cancelled on her. I wished I hadn't have done that. And tried to get her services back two days after cancelling on her, but she had already made other plans.I'd imagine if I could do it all over again---I'd run far far away lol.
Wow check out this wedding nightmare story
